Success in its debut at JPR 2019, the Ultrasound Village will once again be one of the event’s highlights. The space, in the technical exhibition, is open to all and offers theoretical Ultrasonography classes, followed by practical demonstration with US equipment on models.
In the same environment, the ultrasound equipment of the main manufacturers of Diagnostic Imaging will be on display – organized in practical demonstration stations, where the visitor will be able to test the brands and answer their questions directly with the company. In the breaks of the scientific grid of the Ultrasound village, the sponsoring companies will be able to present classes on strategic topics.
The novelty of this year is the Practical Learning and Discussion Session, divided into the Theoretical-Practical Doppler and Hepatic Elastography forums and the Theoretical-Practical Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography.
It has the objective of promoting the teaching of this modality through a debate guided by questions previously prepared by the public (soon the means will be released for the participants to send their doubts), answered by the coordinators in a theoretical and practical way, with live demonstrations, in the US equipment, discussed and clarified by all those present, who can share their own solutions and techniques with the other participants using the US equipment available on site.
Unlike last year, Sunday will also have programming, with even more interaction between teachers and the public. The Anatomical Challenges session in Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography: the Probe at Your Service will feature eight dynamic classes, each lasting 10 minutes.
