General Ultrasound Module coordinators, Drs. Andre Paciello Romualdo, Margarita V. Revzin, M. Cristina Chammas and Sergio Aron Ajzen explain that they have worked to offer a program that addresses the broad range of topics radiologists are interested in today: “To this end, we didactically divide these themes into functional and anatomical groups, which will be explored by renowned experts in the various fields of knowledge. It is important to highlight that we worked together with Dr. Antonio Carlos Matteoni, FLAUS president, responsible for the first day of the meeting,” they stated.
In this way, coordinators sought to meet the expectations of review topics that participants generally seek at general congresses, but with a look at what promising new techniques, such as elastography and contrast ultrasound, can add to their daily routine.
“As always, colleagues from universities and major private services from São Paulo and around the country will participate. As an international highlight, Dr. Margarita Revzin from New Haven, who will talk about abdominal and vascular topics, and Dr. Mariam Moshiri from Seattle, who will talk about urological topics, will be special guests for this event,” they pointed out.
Full module participants will have an overview of each of the major ultrasound subspecialties: small parts, head and neck, chest, abdomen, and vascular ultrasound, but with in-depth and updates on what is in vogue in the world for a proper exam performance.
